Rail Road Mover

NITEQ’s Rail Road Mover; Shunting Vehicle is  a well known machine, in use all over the  world. The RRM is a compact, solid and reliable battery driven machine used for shunting traincars up to 500 tons (on level track).

The excellent driving position makes tracking and de-tracking a very safe and easy procedure. Safety is a high priority, therefore the NITEQ RRM is equipped with several safety features around the vehicle. The RRM can be operated manually or with a portable remote control unit. Available options are; a roof, work lights, 4 wheel steering, ramping, dual drive and different types of height adjustable couplers on both front and rear ends. The RRM can be  equipped with an interlock system for safe operation in combination with other facilities such as an Under floor Wheel Lathe or Lifting Jacks.
